“志愿服务是社会文明进步的重要标志。”志愿活动在学校的开展，最终目标在于逐渐培养学生参与志愿服务的精神和习惯，通过志愿服务提升学生的社会责任感，最终成长为对国家、对社会、对社区有正向价值的社会化的人。

The purpose of volunteerservice in school is to gradually cultivate the spirit for students to care about others, care about their community and enhance student"s sense of social responsibility.

本学年，华外知鉴图书馆共招募学生志愿者25人。来自CEP中学七、八年级的志愿者们，承担了书籍整理上架、秩序维护、活动组织等工作，为图书馆日常馆务工作提供了有力支持。

一个学年的志愿服务圆满结束，同学们相聚在图书馆，为这段时间的志愿之行划上一个圆满的句号，为过去一年坚持不懈的自己加油点赞。

25 student volunteers were recruited for library voluntary service in this school year. They put books in order, assist in organizing events which provided strong support for the daily work in library.

Part.1

奉献之心在于行

They act, they dedicate.

在本学年初，图书馆发布了志愿者招募的信息，短短数天便有63位同学提交申请表格。在经过面试、分组、培训等一系列流程后，志愿者团队正式成型，秩序井然地完成图书馆内的各项任务。

每天中午，图书馆都会有这样一群人，他们身批志愿者绶带，推着满满一车的书籍，在各个书架之间穿梭，将读者归还的书籍，按照《中国图书馆分类法》依次放入书架中。对书架中，放错位置的书、摆放方式不正确的书、不整齐的书进行调整，他们就是华外图书馆的志愿者们。

志愿者共分为5个小组，每个小组分设一个组长，各组组长带领自己的组员分别承担周一到周五不同组别的馆务工作。从一开始的生疏、懵懂，逐渐变得熟练、自然，志愿者们不断提高自己的工作效率，经过一段时间的学习和锻炼后，志愿者不仅可以顺利完成每日分配的工作量，还可以帮助图书馆老师，对馆内书架进行整理和排序。本学期志愿者一共完成书籍还架6368册、平均每周整理书架3次，为华外师生提供了更为温馨舒适的阅读环境。

The volunteers take on different tasks in divided groups. After a period of practice, the volunteers could not only complete the daily assigned workload, but also help the library teachers on more works. They organized a total of 6,368 books to the shelves in this semester that provided a clean and comfortable reading environment for teachers and students.

Part.2

志愿之行在于恒

They persist, they improved.

本学年共有16名志愿者获得“优秀志愿者”称号，他们认真、专注、坚持、努力，每天按时到岗，一共参与志愿服务102天，服务时长225小时，在志愿服务期间表现优异。在他们身上，可以看到青少年朝气蓬勃、认真刻苦、脚踏实地的精神。

16 volunteers were awarded of "Excellent Volunteers". They are dedicated and work hard. They participated in volunteer service for 102 days and served for 225 hours in this school year.
